On 1st August 2025, a group of (slightly nervous but very determined!) colleagues from Matalan’s Supply Chain & Operations team will be throwing ourselves out of a plane – all in the name of a great cause.

We’re doing a tandem skydive to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts. Matalan has proudly partnered with Alder Hey for over 12 years, supporting their amazing work to provide life-changing care, equipment and facilities for children and families across the UK.

This jump is our chance to take that support to new heights – literally.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly to helping Alder Hey continue the incredible things they do every day. Whether it’s ground breaking medical research, state of the art technology, or simply making hospital stays a little easier for kids, your support really will make a difference.
