Hello friends, family and other caring people we may not have met. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our charity page as Marc and I tackle another Great North Run, this year for Newcastle Foodbank.

Newcastle Foodbank supports people and families across Newcastle who are struggling with food insecurity and financial hardship. They provide emergency food parcels, affordable food and welfare support, helping people through difficult periods while also tackling some of the underlying causes of poverty. Their dedicated staff and volunteers work across the city to make sure people have access to essential food and practical support when they need it most.

Through my mum Annette, who volunteers at the Foodbank in Heaton, we have secured two charity spots and having run for national charities previously, feel really privileged to raise money for a local cause this year.

Anything you can donate will therefore be greatly appreciated and will really help those in our local community who need that helping hand.
