Story
On 2–3 May 2026, I’ll be taking on the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge — the full 106km coastal route with around 1,800m of climbing.
This isn’t a staged walk. I’ll be doing it all in one go — walking continuously through the day and night with no sleep until I reach the finish. It’s going to hurt, I’ll be exhausted, and there will be moments when I’ll want to stop!
The route is spectacular but unforgiving — along the Island’s coastal path, past The Needles and Alum Bay, through Cowes, on towards Ventnor, and back to base camp at Chale.
I’m doing this to raise money for Health & Independent Living Support (HILS). HILS supports thousands of older and vulnerable people every day, helping people stay independent, safe and supported.
Please donate if you can — whatever you’re able to give will make a real difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page is a huge help. Thank you — I’ll be carrying your support with me for every mile.
