Jack to walk 100 miles in June

Partnering with parents, we support families whose children have additional needs or disabilities by providing compassion, guidance and hope. SNAP helps families across Essex with children 0 – 25 years, with any additional need and disability.

Story

Jack loves to walk and be outside and physical activity is a vital part of his routine. This June Jack will embark on a personal journey with encouragement and support from his wonderful care team at Meadow View by walking 100 miles to raise awareness and funds for SNAP.

SNAP is a charity that was founded by his Mum round her kitchen table back in 1994. Jack was the inspiration for her to get together with other likeminded parents who wanted to help other families who have children with additional needs and disabilities using the knowledge she had gained from supporting Jack.

SNAP’s mission is to support families across Essex with children aged 0-25, providing them with the compassion, guidance, and hope they need during challenging times. Every step Jack takes will symbolise the strength and resilience of these families as they navigate their unique challenges.

This fundraising effort is also part of the £50k in the 50th Year campaign, a year long celebration of the Hesley Group’s 50th anniversary, supporting causes that matter most to people they support.

Please consider donating to support Jack and help him make a difference.
