Story
I'll be trekking the Indian Himalayas in October 2026 in aid of Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Following on from prior challenging successes that have included; crossing the Sahara Desert, and trekking an exhaustive but remarkable Great Wall of China!
This incredible challenge will see our team cover around 50km over four days, trekking through the stunning Himalayan foothills around Dharamshala – the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama. We'll climb to 2,842m at Triund, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, dense forests and remote mountain villages. Setting up camp each night, cooking over fires, cleaning with water and wipes, pooping in holes, connecting with nature, and embracing the elements. A real challenge rolled into an incredible trip of trekking, teamwork, resilience, perseverance, successes, and ultimately, fundraising for a charity I am proud to be an ambassador for 🧡
I have paid for my flights and expenses already so that the money donated and raised will go directly to the charity.
Please support my challenge by donating to my page, this can be personal or corporate, even sponsorship is available, while helping me to raise vital funds for local children with life limiting and life threatening conditions, and their families.
