Wanting to give back to the hospice after all the care, compassion and dignity freely given to us all in Mums final days, and as another personal challenge (having done the Big Hike for Cancer Research not long before) I decided to have a go at running a 10K.

St Michael's Hospice really doesn't need introducing, but they do rely heavily on their volunteers and fundraisers. I would like to raise as much as possible with the hope that the hospice can always continue their hard work and dedication to her clients.

They say that with the end of a night, a new dawn approaches, well... that's true here. While Mums loss is never going to go away, The number of family and friends whom have approached me to say that they would like to take part with me is astronomical.
