On 2nd May 2025, our beautiful girl, Holly, passed away. HER LIFE ENDED. She was just 31.

Blood clots had developed in her lung over time, known as a pulmonary embolism. When a large one occurred she died very suddenly.

Holly was a young fit woman, she enjoyed running, walking and cycling, she visited the gym. She was not overweight and enjoyed a night out, a normal 31 year old healthy woman.

But a blood clot killed her, the signs were there, a lack of understanding of risks and a lack of understanding about blood clot symptoms led to her death.

I am taking on the London to Brighton bike ride to raise money for ThrombosisUK and to try to raise a little bit more awareness about blood clots.

Those who know me understand I am not the fittest, so this will be a challenge, but I am determined to give it a go!
