Story
I have managed to secure a place to run the London marathon and hopefully raise money for the Salvation army and the amazing work they do. I will be working incredibly hard daily and pushing myself to perform to the best of my ability. Drug addiction is a reality of life and does not just affect people on the streets, its everywhere and needs more worldwide attention. From homelessness to those battling their own personal addictions and battles, the services the Salvation army offer put the person and their needs at the centre of their support - enabling people to take control of their life circumstances.
We passionately believe that no one is beyond hope, however great their problems. So very often, through their care, support, practical help and the time they freely give, people find the strength to turn their lives around. Above all, they are a friend to people who have nowhere else to turn, offering love and hope in place of despair.
Fantastic cause, so any donations are greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference in someone's life.
