This is the 2nd time im running the Great North Run. 1st time was 9 years, 2 kids ago. Now looking to beat my time and get under 2 hours.

Also running the Durham coastal half marathon in July!

Initially I ran to raise funds as Sarah (the lovely lady wife) had Colitis. Fortuntaely she has been in remission for the past 5 years which would have been helped by the good work this charity does.

Since then I have had friends and collagues with Crohn’s and Colitis so every penny raised will go to helping those get their life back, so they can live their lives as normal and care free as possible.

Crohn's & Colitis UK are the UK's leading charity for Crohn's and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of.
