Raising money for Crohn’s & Colitis UK

Great North Run 2024 · 8 September 2024 ·

Our amazing Great North Run team are taking on the world's largest half marathon to raise vital funds to improve diagnosis and treatment, and fund research to find a cure; to empower all those with Crohn's and Colitis to live freer, fuller lives.

Story

The good thing about running is that it's quite simple to get up to scratch, you just have to go out regular and keep running further. The bad thing about running is all the running you have to do. Matt Collins

This year, the Datum360 team's charity efforts feature Phil and Kristina from the development team participating in the Great North Run for Crohn's & Colitis UK. These conditions affect about half a million people in the UK, including family members of the Datum360 team. This is the team's latest charity endeavor, following their support for Daisy Chain and other local charities.

Phil aims to break the 2-hour mark after narrowly missing it on his first attempt. Meanwhile, Kristina is tackling her first half marathon and can be found training along the seafront between Redcar & Marske. They've opted for an unconventional training method by being chased by Zombies as part of their preparation - check out zomebiesrungame.com! If you see them looking panicked during their training, it's all in the name of a good cause!
