The London Marathon is London's most popular sporting event with over 40,000 people taking part.

Story

I'm running the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds and awareness about the importance of heart screening among young people to mitigate the risk of sudden deaths due to undiagnosed heart defects, as tragically happened to my brother Nicky. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a charity aimed at not only raising this awareness, but also in organising mass events where young people can receive potentially lifesaving heart screening. We have already partnered with CRY to organise such an event for the senior pupils at our old school and want to continue raising money to allow more young people to receive this non-evasive, critical screening. 1 in 300 young individuals have a potentially life threatening cardiac condition that they have no idea about. Any donation you can spare will help to ensure more of these are detected and saved. Thank you !
