Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

In October 2022, our father lost his battle to a rare muscle wastage condition. He spent the nine years after his diagnosis fighting the condition with his indomitable strength and positivity. Even towards the end, when he could barely raise his arms or swallow, if we asked how he felt, he would declare with his characteristic smile: "I've never felt better!".

Before he got ill, he was incredibly active and sporty, and we all have fond memories of walks, cycles, runs and swims with him. Our Dad was full of life, and we owe it to him to stay fit and healthy and challenge ourselves in his honour.

To that end, Katherine, Hannah and Lucy are undertaking the London to Brighton 55 mile cycle ride on Sunday 13 September and would love you to sponsor our efforts for a charity close to our heart: Muscular Dystrophy UK. This amazing charity provides life changing support to the 110,000 people in the UK living with muscle-wasting conditios and helps fund world-class research into effective treatments

All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much,

Lucy, Katherine and Hannah
