Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are running the Boston (not that one, the one in Lincolnshire) half marathon in April to raise money for the Mark Sommerville Foundation. The Foundation is an amazing organisation, seeking to help provide people with Motor Neurone Disease and FTD with cutting edge treatment and medication.
A few years ago our best pal Ian was diagnosed with MND, and he and his family have inspired us with their bravery, love and strength ever since. He's an absolute legend, but he has raised a healthy skepticism about us completing the distance.
Anybody who has had any experience of MND will know how horrific the disease is.
There is no test to diagnose MND (for Ian there was 18 months of uncertainty, before the diagnosis was confirmed).
There is also no current cure for the condition. Hopefully Organisations like the Mark Sommerville Foundation will help to address this in the future.

No that's too far
