Story
"During the week starting the 22nd September 6 Surrey Police Volunteer Cadet Units supported by "Fearless" who are part of "Crimestoppers" will each be walking 9K to raise funds for "Charlies Promise."
"Charlies Promise" is an amazing charity dedicated to Charlie Cosser aka "Cheeks"17 who was stabbed and tragically killed in Sussex in July 2023.
The Charity is headed by Charlie's father Martin.
Each Cadet and their leaders will be walking the 9KM as part of the "Walk 53" which will be remembering each of the 53 teenage lives tragically taken to knife crime in the UK in 2024.
The walks will take place in and around each Units Borough with the Cadets raising public awareness of both "Charlies Promise", "Fearless" and the dangers of carrying a knife.
"Fearless" like "Charlies Promise" is a charity.
"At "Fearless" we know young people want to speak up about crime to help make the areas they live safer, but we also understand that there are many reasons why they might not want to report a crime. We provide a safe place for them to pass on information about crime 100 percent anonymously. We believe every young person should know our service exists and this walk will help us raise awareness."
Please give generously and feel free to share.
