Alzheimer's - and dementia - are cruel conditions that too often turn people's final years into an ongoing nightmare. We all know people whose lives have been blighted in this way, and in a year when I turned 70 the least I can do is go for a walk to help out.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
