Story
This September, I’m taking on the London to Brighton cycle ride to raise urgent funds for a cause close to my heart — Community Focus Inclusive Arts, the incredible Barnet-based charity where I work.
For over 45 years, Community Focus has been a lifeline for hundreds of individuals with disabilities, autism, and additional needs. Through inclusive arts and wellbeing workshops, we empower people to unlock their potential, gain life skills, and build lasting friendships in a warm, creative environment.
But this vital work is at risk.
As our CEO, John McCafferty, says:
Our students gain more than just skills—they find confidence, friendships, and a sense of purpose. Losing this space would be a devastating blow to the community.
So I’m asking for your help.
By sponsoring my ride, you’ll be helping us keep this vital work going. Every donation, big or small, helps provide access to creative opportunities that many of our participants simply can’t find elsewhere.
Please support me today — and let’s keep creativity, connection, and confidence alive for those who need it most.
Thank you so much,
Phil Powell
