Story
Dear family, friends, colleagues and everyone else (hopefully) feeling generous,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m running the London 2026 marathon in memory of my late father, Jack. We sadly lost my Dad in 2018 after years of struggles with his mental health. I’m fundraising for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation because my Dad was a huge rugby fan and he was a particular fan of the late and great Doddie Weir.
Please do donate to help the Foundation with its important fundraising. They didn’t get any official places in the marathon this year so they are relying on the few of us who got ballot places and are running for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for your support!
24 APRIL UPDATE: 2 days to go until the London Marathon 2026.
We now have a team effort to raise as much as possible for this brilliant charity.
Andrew Brown https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-brown-326b49192/, MD at Premier League Security, has very generously donated a 2003 England Rugby World Cup Champions shirt, signed by team captain Martin Johnson. I am incredibly grateful to Andrew for his generosity. He is a long term supporter of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and he offered to help after I contacted him on LinkedIn earlier this week.
The shirt will go to whoever donates the highest amount to the fundraising effort, so long as their name appears alongside the donation. If you have already donated you can of course donate again but please make sure your name is clear on the justgiving page.
Andrew will send the shirt to the eventual winner. It must go to a UK address.
Any donations up to 1800 on Sunday 26 April 2026 will be eligible for the prize.
Good luck to everyone running on Sunday, thank you for the donations and thank you Andrew!
