Phil’s 6 Million Pound weight training challenge

Philip Rutter is raising money for Chums Charity

Weight Training

CHUMS is a Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Service for children, young people & adults in Bedfordshire. We support those who have been bereaved, traumatised or suffer with other mental health difficulties. With the right support we can help build resilience and give them hope for the future.

Story

CHUMS hopes to provide mental health and emotional wellbeing support to as many children and young people across Bedfordshire as we can. Friends of CHUMS currently funds 5 services which include the Bedfordshire Suicide Bereavement Service, Babyloss Service and Recreational Therapeutic Service. Without support from fundraisers and donors CHUMS would not be able to provide support to the children, young people and families who otherwise may not receive help when they need it most.

I am an 80 year old totally blind individual who has volunteered for chums for 20 years working with bereaved and traumatised children supported by my guide dog. I am asking for donations to assist me to help fund chums to continue their excellent work with bereaved and emotionally traumatised children. My challenge is to achieve weight training the grand.total of 6 millions pounds in weight over a 6th month time scale.
