This year proceeds raised from ‘Play on the Pitch’ will support two wonderful organisations chosen for the meaningful impact they’ve had on colleagues across the Club. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our charitable arm, Celtic FC Foundation, to support the continuation and development of their work, as they aim to assist the most vulnerable within our communities, by challenging poverty and promoting inclusion. In particular, two projects within the Foundation will be supported, these being Ability Counts and the Foundation’s Holiday Home.

In addition, a donation will be made to The Invisibles, which is a Glasgow-based voluntary organisation which aims to provide comfort to those living on the city’s streets, through practical support.

When you are growing up as a Celtic fan you dream of one day playing for the club When that dream is not fulfilled the next best thing is to play on the pitch. I am so fortunate to be given this opportunity on Sunday 17 May at 3pm to play on the pitch I am excited and looking forward to it. If you are free come along and see this old guy try to compete with the young ones. Any contributions to the charities will be much appreciated. Thank you
