Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm running the London Marathon in April and raising funds for Liberty's Legacy. This is a specific fund within The Bone Cancer Research Trust to assist in life saving research into Ewing sarcoma. I've known Darren (Liberty's dad) for a few years now and been astounded at his and Karen's (Liberty's mum) fantastic fundraising activities in Liberty's memory since her passing from Ewing sarcoma in 2017.
This is my first attempt at the full marathon - albeit, having said that, I tried last year but had to defer due to an injury hence this page refers to the London Marathon 2025 (and it's impossible to change it)! So this is very much Take 2 and so far so good. I couldn't be doing it for a better cause.
Tragically, this is the second time I have raised funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust having done so previously for another friend after the death of their daughter (Rose Allocca) far too young from this horrible disease.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust are the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer and are uniquely placed to make a difference through research, information, awareness and support.
Of course any support on the day for me and thousands of others raising money for good causes will be much appreciated. A donation by way of support will be even more appreciated!
