Charity Brass Band Concert with The Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Band · 19 April 2024

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

We are thrilled to announce that Woodley Methodist will be hosting a Charity Brass Band Concert with The Vernon Building We are Society (Poynton) Band on April 19, 2024, at 7.30pm.

This event is not just about the music; it's about making a difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinson's. Parkinson's is an illness that has touched the lives of many families within our Church and Community. We have witnessed first hand the challenges and hardships faced by individuals who have dedicated their time and energy to our community, only to find themselves battling this debilitating disease.

As a way of expressing our gratitude and support, we have decided to organize this concert as a token of appreciation for those long-standing members and workers who now find themselves suffering. It is our opportunity to say 'Thank You' for their unwavering dedication over the years.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help to make this event a success. By donating to Parkinson's UK through our JustGiving page, you can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this illness. JustGiving makes donating simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe with them - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails.

Let's come together as a community and show our support for Parkinson's UK (Stockport Branch). Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those living with Parkinson's.
