Philippe's fundraiser for the Harrow Club

Philippe Chappatte is raising money for Harrow Club

I am competing in a ski touring race in Swiss Alps called La Patrouille des Glaciers run overnight by the Swiss military every 2 years. · 18 April 2026

The Harrow Club is a charity working with young people in the deprived urban neighbourhoods in West London. We provide young people with a safe place to go, trusted adults and most importantly, opportunities to learn and develop valuable life skills and increase confidence so they thrive in life.

Story

As government funding for youth clubs reduces year on year, clubs like the Harrow Club need your support. The Harrow Club has developed innovative programs with local schools to help young people most at risk of exclusion from school, and ultimately from society. These initiatives not only provide a safe space for our youth but also empower them to make positive choices in their lives.

For the last 6 months I have been training to take part in La Patrouille des Glaciers, an overnight ski touring race run by the Swiss military. We start at 4.00am on April 18th and have to climb 2000 metres over 30 kilometres within strict time constraints. My challenge is to complete the course and simultaneously to raise £20,000 to ensure that we can continue supporting young people in our community. Your contribution can make a significant difference to their lives. Together, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a brighter future. Please consider donating today and help me reach my goal.
