Story
Back in October 2025 we received the news that Rob had been diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia, this is an extremely rare disease that causes failure of the bone marrow. This means that Rob is unable to produce his own blood cells and platelets, which also means he has no functioning immune system.
After several hospital stays and treatments which have unfortunately failed Rob will be going into UCLH for a bone marrow transplant mid may, which will be brutal on his body but will hopefully be the cure that he needs. The recovery will take a significant amount of time and will keep our lives on hold but we hope this is the beginning of the recovery for good.
AAT and UCLH have been incredible and we would like to raise money to show our gratitude
I will be running the London Marathon in 2027 on behalf of AAT, I have zero running ability and am built for comfort and not speed, so this will be no mean feat x
