I’m completing The National 3 Peaks Challenge in memory of my daughter Delilah, who we sadly lost in November 2025. Along with taking some friends and family, I’ll also be carrying one of Delilah’s teddy’s, which weighs 5lb 5oz, the same as her birth weight, so that i’ll feel like she has taken every step of each journey with me.

All funds raised will support WWL’s Bereavement Suite Appeal, which aims to improve the Pearl Suite at Wigan Hospital. This special room provides families like mine with a private, peaceful space to grieve and say goodbye after the loss of a baby.

Having a comforting environment to reflect, remember, and heal can make a huge difference. Having the use of Pearl Suite allowed my family and I to spend precious time with Delilah, and make memories that we will cherish forever. Your support will help enhance the suite with better furnishings, a new WC and shower room, soft lighting, and resources that meet families’ needs during these difficult moments.
