My dad, Tim Woods, sadly died of heart complications in May 2023. I will be running the Royal Parks Half, the London Marathon and the Rome Marathon for BHF in his memory. He was a professional marathon runner and was invited to take part in the first ever London Marathon in 1981. Although we are very aware that we will not be able to complete it sub 2:19hrs, beating his record, we will be running it in his memory to raise money for a fantastic charity and to support advances in cardiovascular medicine. Any donations, small or big, are hugely appreciated. P x
