Story
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Alder Hey Children’s Charity!
In 2013, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour on my pineal gland, right in the middle of my brain. Within a week, I was admitted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, where an incredible team successfully performed a 10-hour surgery to remove the tumour.
It was a scary time, especially for my family, but Alder Hey is a truly magical place filled with the most amazing people. The support we received, from the moment I was diagnosed and being cared for on the ward while recovering, all the way through to the years of check ups, was phenomenal.
Alder Hey is an absolutely outstanding and vital place, providing life-saving treatment and care to the children and families who need it most. I feel so privileged to be running to raise funds for them.
If you’re able to donate, I’d be so grateful — your support will help Alder Hey continue their incredible work.
Thank you 💙
