I am running a half marathon as cancer research is very close to home for me and many others. I am running for my mum who fought cancer, won and crushed recovery and in honour of my grandad who fought with all his might but couldn’t continue. Cancer is a horrible disease that affects so many people and if I can run a half marathon to raise money to help people battling cancer and to aid research then it’s the last I can do.
