London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraising page. I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in April for the wonderful NSPCC. And whilst I cannot deny that this seemingly altruistic deed definitely doesn’t come without selfish motives, namely that training for it means I get to have a few precious moments to myself (my husband has been wondering why I started doing long training runs so early on). Nonetheless, it’s a great cause and why not get fit, prove to myself that I’ve “still got it” post having babies and try and raise money for others at the same time. The rising cost of living is hitting us all hard but the some of the children of our country hardest, so anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your support! Love Phoebe

A few words from my friends at the NSPCC:

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse

That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
