Story
In June 24 my lovely dad found out he had heart failure which eventually led him to be added to the heart transplant list.
Within this time, he also had a stroke which was another obstacle to add to his recovery; but despite this hugely hard time, he has remained positive throughout and done everything he can to aid his recovery.
We were so amazed to find out in May this year, that his heart has improved enough for him to be taken off the transplant list. There is still a possibility that he will need this further treatment in the future, but for now look forward and are grateful for all of the amazing help he has received and still receiving.
All the way through dad’s recovery he has been adamant he wants to raise money for the BHF to help people like him and support such a vital charity. As he isn’t able to run this half marathon, I want to take this opportunity to do it for him.
If anyone wouldn’t mind helping me raise money for the BHF, we would be so grateful! Nothing is too small. Thank you for reading xx
