Story
In November 2024, I began walking the Te Araroa—a trail spanning the length of New Zealand. I hesitated for some time about whether to dedicate the entire walk to charity, as it was something I had always planned to do. However, on this day last year, we sadly lost my cousin Tim after a long battle with mental health issues, and I want to dedicate this journey to him.
To commemorate him and keep his kind-hearted legacy alive, I’d like to raise some funds for a charity he truly supported, the RNLI, in honour of the anniversary of his passing.
Please donate whatever you can, big or small. ❤️ Miss you and your laugh, Timmy boy. x
A little more from the RNLI charity:
More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
Thank you.
