Our beautiful Phoebe lived with mitochondrial disease for most of her life. She faced more than most people could imagine, yet her strength and unforgettable smile never faded. She taught us every day what courage truly looks like.

After years of facing the challenges of this cruel disease with incredible bravery, Phoebe passed away on 23rd June 2026.

Throughout that journey, The Lily Foundation walked beside our family, providing support, hope and helping to fund the research that we pray will one day spare other families from the heartbreak that ours has endured.
