Story
On 4th July 2024, a team of 30+ from Phoenix are taking on a 54-holes-of-golf charity challenge at Mill Green, Welwyn Garden City, to fundraise for Parkinson's UK. Across the three rounds, the team will play near 12 hours of solid golf, collectively walking 350+ miles whilst taking thousands of shots!
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition which impacts both the brain and the body more significantly over time. There is currently no cure, but a range of treatments can help with relieving the symptoms and securing quality of life. The Parkinson's UK Charity does amazing work supporting those with the condition, pushing for excellent health and care, pursuing new treatments, and generally aiming to build a community of support. Any fundraising directed towards this page will help with advancing cutting-edge research into the disease, developing new technology and devices that help with treatment, and helping those impacted by Parkinson's.
We are aiming to raise £5,000 for Parkinson's UK - please donate and share among your family and friends. Any donations at all are hugely appreciated and make a big difference!
Thank you
