Phoenix Korfball Charity Fundraiser

Phoenix Korfball is raising money for Sue Ryder
In memory of Simon Hall

Family Korfball Afternoon · 6 September 2025

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Join us as for a special afternoon of korfball and games in memory of our much-loved teammate Simon Hall.

Simon was a key member of our club for over 16 years, not only as a player but also at various times a coach, referee, team manager and club chairperson. He was the gentlest of giants and a wonderful human being.

This event is a celebration of Simon’s life and legacy, with all funds raised going directly to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, who provided care and support for Simon and his family.
