​International Women's Day is about safety, dignity, and empowerment. For over 20 years, Gilgal has embodied these values by providing 24-hour emergency accommodation and holistic support to those in our city who need it most.

We are incredibly proud to announce that PIB Employee Benefits will be matching every pound we raise. This means that for every £1 you donate, Gilgal receives £2. Your contribution will go twice as far in providing safety and support to those in crisis.

​Why your support matters:

Statutory funding covers less than 20% of Gilgal’s running costs. They rely almost entirely on community fundraising to keep their doors open 365 days a year.

​The impact of your (doubled!) donation:

​£10 (becomes £20): Provides "First Night" essential packs for two women arriving at the refuge with nothing.

​£25 (becomes £50): Funds a 1-to-1 support session plus essential vocational training to help a resident build an independent future.

​£50 (becomes £100): Provides significant support toward the 24/7 specialized care required to keep the refuge a safe haven.
