March for Hogs

As my wife approaches a milestone birthday she has challenged me to walk at least a mile/day in March to raise money for our favourite charity - Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue.

Last year we both joined as volunteer drivers for the Rescue, collecting poorly and injured hedgehogs, found by members of the public and taking them to the Rescue for treatment and rehabilitation, before release back into the wild.

The inspiration comes from hedgehogs, which are nocturnal and roam up to a mile a night - if they can do it surely I can!
