Alder Hey takes on the Great North Run 2026!

Hello! As always myself and my family all appreciate all your help with donating to our charities! This time its myself doing it! If you could donate all i ask is the equivalent of a pint or a half! Feel free to chant or shout abuse me on the day too!.

In November 2016 we welcomed our middle child Ivy into the world! Little did we know the challenges we were about to face! At 16 days old Ivy was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries, A single coronary artery, VSD and ASD! Our whole world was turned upside down and AlderHey became our home for 5 weeks! When Ivy was well enough she had her life saving open heart surgery at AlderHey! We have made it our mission to raise as much money as possible for AlderHey and over the years we have donated close to £10,000 with the help of our wonderful family and friends!

Now I have decided to run The Great North Run in September and I couldn’t think of a more worthy charity! Alder Hey saves lives everyday, please help me to raise as much money as I can to help with vital support and research! We owe everything to AlderHey!

Ivy battles every single day with Congenital Heart Disease, I can run 13.1 miles!!!!
