Join the Pika Pals Podcast in Supporting Mental Health!

I'm raising money to support Mind in Somerset. Your donations will help fund essential services, resources, and mental health support for those in need.
Every single donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. Let’s show the world that Pokémon’s message of friendship and positivity extends beyond the screen - and that together, we can make a real impact on mental health.

Hey everyone! My name’s Jed, that’s me in the photo rocking the Pokémon hat. I recently started a podcast about Pokémon - you're probably wondering what that has to do with anything? Well, that’s me in the photo rocking the Pokémon hat… wait, I already said that.
I had an idea to create the Pika Pals Podcast - reliving the nostalgia of the original Pokémon TV series, sharing memories, and uncovering the life lessons and philosophy hidden within. What began as a personal journey to better understand my neurodivergence and boost my self-esteem has evolved into something incredibly meaningful! I set a fundraising target of £151 (the same number of original Pokémon) and, with your amazing generosity, I reached that goal in just over a month!
I'm super excited to continue using my podcast and the amazing Pokémon community to raise funds for Mind in Somerset, a truly incredible mental health charity that has provided life-changing support to me and so many others. Mental health is a significant part of my journey, and I’ve seen just how essential supportive networks can be. Their work is transformative, and together, we can make a real difference! And that’s me in the photo rocking the Pokémon hat.
I’m absolutely thrilled to have the support of incredible figures like Sir Stephen Fry, the President of Mind, and Rodger Parsons, the voice behind the Pokémon TV series, who have shared their praise for my podcast and are cheering me on with my fundraising efforts, which is beyond amazing.
Thank you all for being part of this journey!
