We are raising money for Pilgrims Hospices by running the Miner's Way Challenge on Saturday 28th March 2026!

Pilgrims deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year. They work through hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, and in patients' homes and via community programmes.

The Challenge

Celebrating east Kent’s proud mining heritage, this exciting challenge offers a 13.1-mile multi-terrain route from Aylesham to Betteshanger, following the historic Miner's Way Trail.

Running in the footsteps of east Kent’s miners, celebrating a proud local legacy, and making every mile matter. Every step helps Pilgrims Hospices continue providing free, compassionate care for people across east Kent living with incurable illness.
