This service provides specialised, person-centred packages of support with the emphasis being on service users fulfilling their potential through the development of vocational and life skills.
We focus on developing transferable skills which fosters and encourages the achievement of personal goals. By supporting service users to become involved in the day-to-day activities we are able to develop a fulfilled sense of achievement while building confidence, new friendships, teamwork, communication skills and problem solving skills.
The staff team are a competent and caring group of people who all undergo an in depth training so as to ensure each person working in the service is able to feel confident within their role.
In Pinewoods we strive to help the children reach their goals while also ensuring they have a fun filled stay. In order to do this we ensure that the service has all the things it needs to support the children.
We are currently fundraising to help us purchase tough furniture for our service given the nature of Pinewoods we would love to purchase furniture that is bright and colorful and robust enough to withstand the pressures of the service.
