Great Kilkeel to Dublin Marathon Finish Relay for Evora Hospice Care

On Saturday 22nd August 2026, a team of runners led by the Pink Ladies Kilkeel will take on an incredible challenge – completing a 120km relay from Kilkeel to the Dublin Marathon Finish Line in aid of Evora Hospice Care.

The relay has been divided into 14 stages, with runners covering distances between approximately 7 and 13 kilometres, passing a baton all the way from Kilkeel to Dublin before finishing together at the iconic Dublin Marathon finish line.

This challenge is about much more than running.

Evora Hospice Care provides outstanding care, comfort and support to individuals and families across our local community during some of life’s most difficult moments. Many of us have experienced first-hand the compassion shown by their incredible staff, while others are running to honour the memory of loved ones who received their care.

To recognise those special people, each stage of our relay will be dedicated to someone who has benefited from or been cared for by Evora Hospice Care. Every kilometre we run will be a tribute to their memory and a celebration of the difference hospice care makes.

We know the miles will be challenging, but they are nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by the patients and families supported by Evora Hospice.
