Many families don't get to feed their babies in the way that they wanted to, and many mums stop breastfeeding long before they're ready.

Our society and culture doesn't always value breastfeeding, or provide an environment in which breastfeeding is do-able for new mums.

We can't change society overnight, but we can help individual families by providing knowledge that empowers them.

The aims of 'Pink for Power' are:

1. to raise awareness of the need for knowledge and understanding about lactation

2. to provide empowering information about breastfeeding

3. to raise funds for South Cumbria Breastfeeding Support, to enable them to continue to support families
