Pinsent Masons’ Edinburgh Community Action Group is currently fundraising for the Lawscot Foundation, one of its charity partners.

The Lawscot Foundation aims to support academically talented students from less-advantaged backgrounds in Scotland through their legal education journey. While certainly not exclusive to the legal profession, social mobility is a challenge that everyone must help to tackle.

The Foundation is there to help pupils who have the drive and talent to become lawyers of the future, but lack the finances to do so. It offers financial assistance, mentoring and other support to students during the law degree (LLB) stage, right through the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
