Story
We are raising vital funds to improve the outdoor sensory garden in the school. The school is home to 200 pupils aged 5 to 19 of severe learning and or physical and health disabilities.
The class sizes have had to increase recently due to more children needing spaces at a special needs school. This means there is a greater need for an outdoor space for pupils who find the busy classroom environment too overwhelming.
A sensory garden can help pupils self regulate and calm any anxieties they may have. It also provides a place for outdoor learning and a place to express themselves.
Due the rising costs of equipment and the size of the space we are holding a charity ball in June in order to raise these vital funds. We also have this link available for anyone who cannot attend and wish to donate.
Any donation helps no matter the amount
