I know there are so many people raising money these days; it's great, but it can also be overwhelming. So thank you for even considering this.

I'm raising money for Centrepoint because, as a young teenager, my family became homeless, and I was sent into the care of a retired couple - it wasn't a safe place. I eventually went back to my family for a while, but later in my teens, found myself living in a hostel, trying to escape an increasingly difficult home situation. It was the worst time of my life.

Sadly, the numbers of young people on the streets and without homes, for one reason or another, are getting worse. I remember the loneliness and isolation all too well, and the work that Centrepoint does to support young people in this situation is life-changing and can honestly be the difference between life and death.
