Story
Hi, I'm Leanne a.k.a PIPES, and I'm a Pulmonary Sarcoidosis sufferer. Im throwing a summer terrace party at View62 Barry Island to raise money for Sarcoidosis UK.
A word from the charity:
Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. We work to change that. Our 4 goals are; providing information, providing support, raising awareness and funding research.
Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease characterized by the growth of tiny, abnormal lumps of immune cells called granulomas in various organs, most commonly the lungs and lymph nodes. It is a rare, often chronic condition that can cause fever, breathing difficulties, extreme fatigue, and severe organ dysfunction if left untreated. While causes are unknown, it can lead to permanent scarring (fibrosis).
While the lungs are affected in over 90% of cases, it can affect any organ, including the skin, eyes, heart, and nervous system.
None of our work is possible without donations. We are reliant on your generosity and as a small charity, any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to our ability to help others. Thank you!
It would mean the absolute world to see lots of you come for a dance in the sunshine and possibly donate!
With a selection of South Wales best DJ's spinning your summer house tunes, this will be a great start to the May bank holiday weekend!
No tickets, just a donation to the charity would be much appreciated!
This event is also a part of the Glastonbarry Fringe Festival.

I hope to see you there.
Thank you, Leanne x
