I’m excited to announce the first (hopefully of many) PipFit Challenge taking place this summer.

8 valued, strong and determined clients and friends will be joining me to climb 3 peaks in Wales on Saturday 1st June. We’ll start at Snowdon before tackling Cader Idris and finishing at Pen Y Fan. It certainly will be a physical and mental challenge as we climb and descend one after the other in one day.

An experienced mountain leader will guide us and we even have our very own chauffeur (Mr PipFit) to transport us between mountains so we can all focus on rest and recovery.

To say I’m excited is an understatement and to be experiencing this challenge with these beauts is the icing on the cake.

This challenge presents an opportunity that we just can’t pass up. One of the team works for a small local charity that don’t receive any government funding. Everything is either from fundraising or donations. It’s such a vital and valuable charity providing essential services to our local community and families when they need it most.

Sebastian's Action Trust supports families of seriously-ill children, walking alongside them from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. We provide emotional, practical and social support to more than 600 families who have life-limited or life-threatened children. We support the whole family in the community, in the family home and at our two centres (Basingstoke and Crowthorne).

We can't add days to lives, but we can - and do - add life to days.
