Leo's Middlesbrough 10K
Campaign by Leo's (RCN 1179901)
This September, Leo's is once again a partner charity for the Middlesbrough 10K. Raising vital funds for families of sick and premature babies to support their mental health and well-being, as well as our newest service which supports baby loss.

Story

When our twins were born in December, Rafe needed emergency care on the Neo-Natal ward as he was unable to breathe on his own. This ward helped care for Rafe and provided him with amazing support to get him well and ready for the world. Pippa and I are running the Middlesbrough 10k to try and raise money for Leo’s - a charity who support those involved in needing Neonatal care.

please sponsor us for this wonderful charity.

More about Leo’s:

We are Leo's, an award-winning parent-led charity which provides much needed support for families when their baby has been born sick or premature and needs neonatal care.

We now also provide specialist perinatal support to families in Redcar and Cleveland & Middlesbrough who have been affected by pregnancy or baby loss.

1 in 8 babies will need neonatal care, and 1 in 4 parents will sadly lose their baby or pregancy.

Those are huge numbers, and we work tirelessly to fill the gaps that the NHS can't.

No one else provides the care that we do.

With everything from peer support, counselling, CBT, EMDR, peer led groups supporting children's development, creative journaling and more - we always make sure families get the absolute best care from us.

Our motto is "We See You, We've Been You, We've Got You" because we know how it feels.
