Pippa's Memorial Fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust

It is with shattered hearts, the deepest sadness and endless grief to share the news that our precious Pippa passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday 17th of March. Pippa is now at peace and her struggle is finally over.
In the darkest times she was the brightest light and she will never, ever be forgotten. Her resilience during the biggest challenges was remarkable and her beautiful spirit will be with us forever.
Instead of flowers, we kindly request generous donations to Teenage Cancer Trust. Pippa wanted to raise money in her memory for such an incredible charity, who provided Pippa and her family exceptional care and emotional support.
When a young person finds out they have a cancer diagnosis, TCT makes an unimaginably difficult experience much more bearable. Because of their unique units embedded within hospitals across the UK, young people like Pippa can have their families stay with them around the clock, and relax in dedicated safe spaces where you can still be normal, have fun and not be judged. TCT also fund specialist cancer nurses to provide dedicated support for young people and their families. All this has meant that Pippa never had to go through the most difficult of times alone. The special TCT lounge also meant we could still celebrate the biggest life events when Pippa was in hospital - including her wedding and 25th birthday. Without TCT, the long stays Pippa had in St James would have been infinitely more difficult.
Thank you TCT Leeds, especially Claire, Shona and all the other staff for everything you did for Pippa and our family. We will never be able to express our gratitude enough and TCT will always be the charity we fundraise for.
Pippa’s forever loving sisters, husband, Mum and Dad.
