Story

Right now, over 2.5 million animals are used in scientific procedures every single year in Great Britain alone.

95% of them are mice, rats, birds, or fish, and another

1.3% are dogs, cats, and primates.

It is archaic, it is scientifically flawed, and I am running the London Marathon 2027 to help Replacing Animal Research drive that number to absolute zero. Their vision is simple: "Creating a future where no animal suffers for science."

Hey, yeah, it’s me,

Callum. that knife-wielding vegan nutritionist, And to get those animals out of laboratories, I have made the decision to completely destroy my own body on the streets of London.

Let’s be entirely transparent: running the London Marathon has been a massive dream of mine for years, but doing it just for myself isn't enough.

I am willing to sacrifice my lower back, my toenails, and my remaining dignity to help shut laboratory doors for good, but I need you to part with your cash to make my suffering count, my knees will be writing a letter of resignation, and I will be chafing in postcodes I didn't even know existed.

This is a straight transaction: you part with your cash to fund the scientific revolution that shuts laboratory doors for good, and in return, you get to watch me physically decompose on the pavement

The Science (Where Your Cash Goes)

Replacing Animal Research doesn’t stand outside labs holding placards; they fund the actual, cutting-edge tech—like lab-grown human tissue and advanced computer modeling—that makes testing on live animals completely obsolete. The technology is already here, but the shift away from animal testing needs massive funding. I am willing to sacrifice my lower back and my remaining dignity to fix that, but I need your money to make the suffering count.

Documenting the Downfall

I’m not taking your money and hiding until race day. I will be documenting the entire, unedited trajectory of my physical and mental collapse across Instagram

You are paying for front-row seats to:

My 5:00 AM existential crises in the freezing rain while normal people are asleep.

The pure logistics of trying to force-feed myself enough calories to survive a long run without violently throwing up on the pavement.

The exact Spotify playlists I’m using to drown out the sound of my lungs crying for help.

If you want to save millions of animals from labs while watching a grown man get absolutely broken by a real long run!, hit the sponsor button, donate what you can, and let’s get this nightmare started.
