Plastic pollution is having an adverse effect on our ocean wildlife that we love so much, and it’s creating toxins in our marine ecosystems which act as a vector for spreading pollutants through the food-chain ultimately affecting our personal well-being and health.

This is why at Plasloc, it is our mission to combat our contribution to this effect 🐬

We have achieved a carbon-neutral status since 2019 and this was achieved by taking every measure possible through our manufacturing process , from developing our products so they're reusable and help reduce the amount of timber and steel hoardings that go to landfills. All the way to recycling and remaking our products through our closed-loop-recycling process contributing to a zero-waste ethos ♻️

Just One Ocean is a UK based charity founded in 2014 for the purpose of preserving the ocean for future generations ahead. We strive to donate all funds received from the recycling of our products to them to do our part for a better future.

Our mission coincides with Just One Ocean's - to raise the global awareness of the issues facing our marine and coastal environments in order to protect and conserve them for future generations 🐢

Just One Ocean has developed a number of projects to achieve this mission. They are currently undertaking and supporting scientific research in several disciplines, advising on community based programmes, supporting businesses and arts projects. The work they do is diverse, but so are the problems facing the ocean 🐋

We are helping to raise money for this wonderful charity by taking part in a 34km trek along the steep ups and downs of the beautiful Jurassic Coast - starting at Corfe Castle, along the Purbeck Ridge down to Lulworth Cove, and on past the iconic Durdle Door to finish the last leg down to Weymouth where a crisp well deserved pint will be waiting 🍺
